NSSD Shines at On Point Dance Competition: Highest Scoring Group, Powerhouse Award & Technique Award!

The Next Step School of Dance had an amazing weekend at the On Point Dance Competition, bringing home three prestigious awards:

🏆 13 & Over Highest Scoring Group Award – Recognizing our dancers’ outstanding performance and execution in their performance of Heaven I Know, choreographed by Miss Christine. This recognition reflects the countless hours spent refining their technique, building stamina, and perfecting their artistry. It’s not just about executing choreography—it’s about telling a story, connecting with the audience, and leaving a lasting impression.

🏆 Technique Award – Celebrating our dancers’ precision, control, and technical excellence in their performance of Heaven I Know, choreographed by Miss Christine. This award speaks to the strong foundation in ballet, alignment, strength, and flexibility that all our dancers work tirelessly to develop. It’s a reminder that great performances are built on a solid technical base and that the effort put into perfecting the smallest details truly pays off.

🏆 On Point Studio Powerhouse Award – Honoring our studio’s strength, versatility, and talent across all routines in all ages, levels and groups. The On Point Studio Powerhouse Award is given to a studio that displays exceptional talent, versatility, and energy across multiple routines. This award represents the collective strength of our dancers, teachers, and choreographers. It recognizes our ability to excel in various styles, and our studio’s commitment to training well-rounded dancers.

These achievements are a testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion of our dancers, teachers, and families. From long hours in the studio to the energy and artistry brought to the stage, this success is well-earned!
