How long am I signing up for?
Our season for Dance Academy & Specialty Classes runs from September through June with an end of the year Recital. We do offer six week classes throughout the season, however, they do not perform in the Recital. 

Does dancewear need to be purchased at the studio?
For our Dance Academy color-coded classes we require dancers to wear a leotard purchased at the studio, pink tights and the proper shoes. For students in our Specialty Classes, dancewear is available on Curtain Call for Class. All students can purchase dance shoes through Curtain Call For Class. At the studio, we can size your child, so that you will know exactly what size to purchase! 

 

Can I leave my child during dance class to run a few errands?

 Yes as long as we have your cell phone number on file you may leave the studio. If you are running late coming back just phone us at the studio. No student will be let out of the dance room alone an assistant will remain with her until she meets up with a parent.

 

Where is the recital held, how much are the tickets, do I have to buy a ticket? 

The recital is held at the Arthur F. Couch Performing Arts Center at Secaucus High School. The tickets are approximately $24 each + NJ Sales Tax. Everyone who needs a seat needs a ticket. Our seats are ticketed seating with assigned seating numbers, you do not need to wait on line on the day of the performance to reserve a seat.

What about costumes, when are they ordered? Will it still fit my child?

Students are measured for costumes in October, November and December because it takes approximately 8 weeks once the orders are placed for them to arrive. We do allow room for growth spurts. We place the orders in time for our spring photo shoot which is held at the studio. Finished photographs are available for purchase one week after photo is taken, but family is not required to purchase.
