Courses
BABY & COMPANY (ages 18 months - 2 1/2 years with a parent or care-giver):
Baby & Company is an introduction to dance movements using a variety of musical themes and props for dancing fun! An obstacle course is added for agility and coordination. Young dancers will learn the basic steps while learning how to follow direction and imitate movement in a positive environment. Engaging music is used to get these little dancers inspired to dance. The use of props such ashula hoops, maracas, scarfs, and wands, enable the young dancers to use their imagination creativity and most of all, have fun!

"ADVENTURES IN DANCE" (ages 2 1/2 - 3 1/2):
Adventures in Dance is a creative movement class, which uses a variety of dance and tumbling techniques to enable the young dancer to develop motor skills, listening skills, strength, agility, timing, and coordination using props. Using different musical themes encourages creative expression.

Dance Academy Ballet/Tap/Tumbling Combination Classes:
Depending on the age and level this class gives ballet technique, tap technique and basic beginner tumbling techniques.* (Hot Pink)

Dance Academy Ballet/Tap/ Tumbling/Jazz Combination Classes:
This class is an hour class that is a combination of ballet technique, tap technique, basic beginner jazz techniques, & tumbling techniques.* (Blue)
Dance Academy Ballet Only:
Depending on the age and level this class gives ballet technique. This class is one 30 minutes long*

Depending on the age and level this class gives tap technique. This class is one 30 minutes long*

Dance Academy Jazz Only:
Depending on the age and level this class gives jazz technique. Jazz encompasses many sharp and controlled movements, from funk video-style to Broadway-style dance. This class is one 30 minutes long*

Acro
Acrobatics is a combination of gymnastics and dance, working on the dancers balance, agility, and motor coordination.

TEEN DANCE CLASSES (12)

Classical Ballet:
Classical Ballet is a precise discipline where dancers learn technique for posture, body alignment and grace.
​
Lyrical:
Lyrical is a fusion of classical ballet, modern ballet and jazz.
​
Pointe:
Pointe is offered to more advanced classical ballet dancers who are encouraged to pursue their ballet training on pointe shoes.
Tap:
Tap is a fast-paced, fun subject where dancers learn to “strike their foot on the floor” and to move their feet rhythmically to upbeat music tempos.
Jazz/Hip Hop:
Jazz programs are specifically designed according to each class level, using ballet barre work, center floor work, turns, leaps and jumps. Jazz encompasses many sharp and controlled movements, from funk video-style to Broadway-style dance. Hip Hop encompasses the latest video-style hip hop moves performed to today’s upbeat music.

Musical Theater:
Musical Theater is a combination of jazz dance and acting games to introduce students to the theater world. Broadway hits and developing characters helps the student understand what Broadway is all about!
